HOW THE ADOPTION PROCESS AND DEPOSITS WORK & TRANSPORT OPTIONS

Let me start by saying that there are NO selections before evaluation day!  Evaluations are done at 8 weeks of age.
This is when we determine temperaments, conformation correctness for Show/Breed homes, and those that are pet/companion pups.

As breeder I make my selection first, then make contact with those on the waitlist in order that deposits were received.  If I can't make contact with you in a reasonable amount of time you will forfeit your place on the waitlist.
I will post evaluation dates on litter posts so keep checking back if you are on the list for that litter.  If you are requesting a certain color be prepared to wait.  If any pups remain after the folks that have placed deposits have made their choice the remaining pups will be posted to the general public.

We currently have a shorter waitlist so it is likely you will find the right pup for you.

The Process
Once you contact us with interest in one of our pups/dogs I will reach out to you by phone to learn a bit more about what you are looking for, an application by phone if you will.  If accepted as a prospective new puppy parent I will add you to the waitlist.  Keep an eye out for the puppy evaluation date as I will make contact with you in order of deposits received.

Deposits
Deposits are accepted via check or through the Good Dog app (preferred).
The deposit is $200 with the balance due in cash at pickup.
Please include a note telling me about your lifestyle, gender of puppy, color preference, size, temperament, and any other attribute your new fur baby should posses.  Also indicate if you will be willing to accept a different pup if the one you have your eyes on doesn't fit with your other requirements.  If we can't find the right fit with the litter that you put your deposit on we will hold it until a we have a suitable pup for you.  You can bypass any litter, no expiration on your deposit unless it's at your request.

Deposits are non-refundable unless there is a problem on my end.  If there isn't a puppy in the current litter that is a good fit the deposit is transferable to the next litter.

Make sure to include any and all ways to make contact with you when decision day arrives so that we can make our way down the waitlist quickly
.

Returned checks will be charged a $35.00 fee added to the original deposit that must be paid before pickup.  The remaining balance for the puppy must be paid in cash at time of pickup.

PICK UP
I DO NOT air ship any of my dogs or puppies.  I will meet you at the Paducah airport but the fee is an additional $50 to cover my time, fuel, and mileage.  I can also assist you in finding reputable Ground Transportation but it is the new owners responsibility to get your new puppy/dog home.

USDA Health Exam and Certificate for USDA Transport is $100.00 per dog/puppy.

For other Delivery options you will need to find a pet transport.
We have worked with Premier Pet Transport LLC from Missouri and had great success.  They are USDA licensed.  A USDA Health Exam and Certificate will be required and that expense along with transport fees are Buyers responsibility.  Please do your due diligence if hiring a transport company.
